- I was born in Cuba many moons ago. Left before Castro could do much damage, and lived in Spain for three years. I came to the US at 12 so I am an American with Cuban roots that go very deep into my heart. Yes I miss Cuba, as that is where my entire family stayed. I married and made my own family. I have the most wonderful children any woman could ask for. I have a son serving our country. He is married to the cutest little bit I know and love. I have a daugther who is finishing her last year of law school and she is married to the sweetest cutest blue boy I know. :) I also was blessed to be able to adopt a baby who is now 5 years old and she is my blessing. So yes, three children later, 3 cats 2 dogs and many memories..good and bad made who I am today. :)
